"White Haze on Electric Blue"
New Brush-Wipe Style painting I finished recently - it's a monochrome-white painting on a metallic-blue background and has quite a Mark Rothko feel to it...
Often with this style of painting I don't use a border but for this particular piece I wanted a bold outline to complement and contrast the hazy nature of the main body of the piece.
This painting is part of a new series of pieces I've been working on since moving to a new studio in Duivendrecht. Most of the paintings in the series have been on wood (including this one) as it's a new medium I'm experimenting with...
