Apologies again for not being in touch for so long - to make up for it I've put a summary of all the recent things I've been up to in 2019 and some new things coming up for 2020 below...

New Murals in Amsterdam...
Since the last time I was in touch I've done a few more installation projects around Amsterdam...
The first was a set of installations at a Japanese/Jamaican Vegan restaurant called the TerraZen Centre in the city centre (on Sint Jacobsstraat).
The concept behind the mural was to create a piece that fused the African/Jamaican influence of one of the owners with the Japanese influence of the co-owner.
To do this I used the zen-like colours from the existing mural on the opposite wall and intermingled them with the bold african colours of the rasta flag:

Built into the mural is also a rasta flag on the interconnecting door featuring the 3 X's of the Amsterdam flag:

A few months later the restaurant also wanted some more paintings to complement the original installation and commissioned some detailing to go around the window frame and entrance doorway:

If you live in Amsterdam or are visiting the city and would like to see the installation you can find the restaurant at Sint Jacobsstraat 19 (about 2-3 minutes walk from Dam Square)...

Earlier this year I did a new installation at Maccheroni Restaurant in the east of Amsterdam. It was a follow-up to the mural I did there the previous year and was a commission to paint the borders of the menu boards in the restaurant:

I've also been working on a few new product ranges including stickers, tobacco tins, and up-cycled furniture...

Up-Cycled Furniture
Every week in the Netherlands people leave all the furniture and items they no longer want or need outside their homes which offers the perfect opportunity for up-cycling these unwanted items into art:

Have already up-cycled a number of items but am running out of space at the moment - as soon as I have more storage space for the new pieces then there will be more pieces of furniture like this to come... ;)
New Online Platforms...
I've got 2 new online platforms that I'm going to be using in 2020 - one of them is a YouTube Channel where I'm planning on creating a series of live art videos, and an Online Shop on Etsy featuring original artwork, prints, gift items and more...

Online Shop on Etsy
I'm also going to be launching a new online shop on Etsy that will feature original artwork (including paintings, drawings, furniture), prints, gift items and more.
I'll be aiming to add new creations to the shop regularly and fill it with lots of new items throughout 2020...
At the moment there are a few items in each category in the shop (drawings, paintings, prints etc.) and I'm currently working on a new collection of pieces to launch the shop officially in Feb/March time...
