Each mural is a unique bespoke creation so prices vary with size, design style, and level of detail and I would be happy to give you a free, no-obligation estimate/quote for your wall.

How Are Murals Priced?
The price of a mural is based on the following criteria:
The total price is then calculated based on the individual prices of the above criteria.
- Size
- Design fee
- Mural style
- Materials
- Number of colours
- Additional costs (e.g. wall preparation/treatment etc.)
- Travel and/or living expenses if you live outside the Amsterdam or the Netherlands
- Discretionary gratuity

Size
The size of the mural is obviously a key aspect in the price, though sometimes smaller more intricate paintings can cost more than larger less intricate ones.
Murals are priced by square-metre and typically range between €80 - €100 per square metre depending on your chosen style.

Design Fee
The creation of a mural is a 2-part process - the first part is creating and deciding on the best colour scheme for the wall, and the second part is the physical rendering of the finalised design.
There's a basic design fee of €120 which covers the work involved in creating the colour scheme and samples. This is so you can try out a few colour scheme and so you can make sure you're happy with how the final-scheme looks before it's painted on the wall.
The finalised colour scheme is usually reached after 3 attempts (i.e. after each "attempt" colours are added and/or removed to modify the scheme).
The first 3 provisional designs are included in price above, after which there's an extra €20 per additional design modification.

Mural Style
I offer 2 different styles of mural and the price per square metre of each is as follows:
"Colourful Shape Style" - €100 per square metre

"Floating Style" - €80 per square metre

Materials
The cost of materials is included in the price per square metre amount above and covers the cost of paint (a combination of emulsion and professional acrylic), along with a protective gloss varnish to finish.
If special materials are required e.g. metallic or gold-coloured paints, or glow-in-the-dark paints then there can be an addition charge to cover the extra costs which can be discussed at the design stage.

Number of Colours
The prices above include mural designs of up to 10 different colours (which is usually enough to get a nice looking effect).
If more colours are required for the design then there is a charge of €10 per additional colour (the addition of extra colours can be discussed at the design stage).

Additional Costs
The prices above assume that the wall is ready to be painted on and doesn't require any special treatment or preparation.

Travel Expenses
Travel prices are included in above prices to all Amsterdam postcode addresses.
Outside of Amsterdam the additional cost is the cost of travel ticket, plus €10 per hour of travel.

Living Expenses
For murals further from Amsterdam or outside the Netherlands (that require further travel and local accomodation) the additional price is a combination of the following:
- cost of the travel ticket, e.g. train ticket/flight
- €15 per hour of travel to and from location
- cost of basic local accommodation for duration of the stay
- €40 per day for duration of stay
Discretionary Gratuity
The above prices cover all the basic costs of creating a mural.
If you're particularly pleased with your mural and would like to leave a discretionary gratuity then by all means feel free to do so.
Of course any gratuities are completely optional and entirely at your discretion.
